		Feature Events

	10-9-10 with Doktor Kaboom! 7pm Adult Show and Fundraiser. The Friends of the Sheldon board is also looking forward to its annual fall John Phillips Sousa Band cake social; free to all concert ticket holders! The Phoenix Theatre will be holding open auditions for its December 2010 production of 'A Christmas Carol' this fall. Check back for more information.

		Friends' Fall Fundraiser!

	What happens when science and theatre meet? 'Kaboom'!!! This year, we are excited to announce the arrival of Doktor Kaboom for the Friends' Fall Fundraiser On October 9th 2010, join us for a 7pm adult show featuring complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, audience interaction, raffle prize drawings, and comedy that will pull you directly into the action! Also, enjoy a 2pm family show with Doktor Kaboom featuring audience interaction and more. Don't miss this action-packed day at the theatre made for the entire family! 		Friends of the Sheldon welcomes you!

	Welcome to the Friends of the Sheldon; a working community theatre board that raises funds to support the Sheldon Theatre and the Pheonix Theatre. The Sheldon Theatre is known to many as the Jewel Box of Red Wing. Red Wing is fortunate to have this historical and beautiful building that provides a diverse range of programming and entertainment year-round. This opportunity is due in large part to the support of the Friends of the Sheldon. The Friends' organization donates funds to support the productions of the theatre, including Phoenix Theatre productions. Members of the Friends of the Sheldon Executive Board volunteer countless hours maintaining theatre productions in Red Wing. Financial support in the form of Friends memberships is needed from community members like you to make this possible. The Friends Board invites you to enjoy and support your local theatre! Please consider becoming a member of the Friends today! With your tax deductible Friends membership, you will receive many benefits including: A 15% ticket discounts to any Sheldon event A minimum of two free tickets to select 'Friends' shows 'Friends'-only quarterly newsletter Free soda at Sheldon events Pledge cards are available online and in the lobby of the Sheldon Theatre.
